Sydney – City and Suburbs

These ANZ Bank Automatic Teller Machines (ATM) are located along Pitt Street. A number of ATMs around the city this year were transformed into a “GAYTM” to celebrate the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras which was held in the city recently. The machines are colourfully decorated and have different textures including fake fur. The bank is donating the operator fees for non-ANZ cardholders from their GAYTMs to non-profit counselling and support organisation Twenty10 for the duration of the campaign. There are ten of these ATMs around the city including “Mo’ Town” which celebrates the iconic disco moustache that dates back to the 1970s and “Pride” which celebrates the rainbow as a symbol of gay pride.
