Riding a wave

Valid during many months: This influence indicates a time of great confidence. Any optimism now really seems to be justified, particularly where you have had the feeling of being stuck in a rut. Although things will start to get going, it would be a mistake to lie back or stop making an effort. You may encounter persons who try to dissuade you from a course of action that you have been committed to for years, with the result that you become confused about the direction of your life. This is not a good time to become involved in any kind of contractual or business negotiations. Even if the people whom you are dealing with are completely honest – and with this influence they may very well be dishonest – you will find it difficult to think clearly about your own goals and objectives in the negotiations. As a result you will not get what you want from the procedure.
On the metaphysical plane there is a lesson to be learned from this influence. The less involved your ego is in a situation, the more freedom you will have to do what you want. By bringing about a loss, this influence often shows us that our attachment to material objects or to certain personal relationships has prevented us from being free. Restrictions seem to come from nowhere, and you may have to work very hard just to maintain your accustomed level, let alone improve it. This period can be quite unfavorable financially, especially if you have not been very careful in recent years. It tests how well you have put your life together in almost every area, but especially in matters related to finances and business. You may discover that many aspects of your life cannot withstand real adversity.
Approximately seven years ago, many new activities began in your life. Now they are being tested to see whether they have any real importance in your life. Anything that does not withstand this test should be abandoned or substantially changed. It will be possible to hold on to something that clearly does not work, in spite of opposition from others and restrictions from your surroundings. And if you do that, after this time, it may appear to be working out all right. But that is only because the current challenge is over. However, in about seven years anything you have clung to will be tested again and will cause far more trouble than it does now. In other words, if something isn’t working now, let it go!

In any case this is a time of tremendous responsibility and hard work, either to guarantee the successful conclusion of your old projects and endeavors or to salvage the best from the failures.
In those areas of your life that you have handled successfully – in your public life, your domestic life, or whatever – the responsibility of bringing your activities to a successful climax will limit your freedom of movement. Even if you know that events are turning out as you want, you may feel restless under the burdens. Try to be patient and concentrate wholly upon the tasks at hand.

Creative revolution
Valid during many months: This influence represents a period of massive changes, which you share with almost everyone of about the same age. Therefore the causes of these changes may be larger social forces that are outside of your personal sphere of life.
This combination of forces carries the symbolism of creative revolution; that is, you may be in revolt against many of the factors that have made your life routine and devoid of new challenge and interest. Many elements of your life will pass away suddenly and be gone with little or no warning, even elements that you have felt were a permanent part of your life. This can occur in just about any area of your life, but personal and professional relationships will be very strongly affected.
Your central problem during this time will be one of attitude. Obviously, the greater your psychological investment in having conditions remain exactly as they are now, the more you will suffer. Weighty concerns

Also you will probably create a set of fully formulated goals and expectations for the next several years. Therefore it is very important to take this time very seriously and be very aware of what you are doing, because the patterns that you establish now will be very hard to alter and will determine the success or failure of your relationships over the next several years.
It is very important to learn other people’s views of you as a human being and as a member of society. But this does not mean you should take everyone’s words at face value and deny all your own beliefs. You may have an exaggerated respect for someone else’s views and give them more credence than they are worth. LIBRA.
Do you feel a bit defeated? That would be understandable, given all that has occurred of late but you won’t feel like that by the end of 2010. It’s going to be a very positive year. It begins with Saturn in your sign.
